10 Edge And Christian WWE Matches That Totally Reeked Of Awesomeness

10. Edge and Christian Vs. Alberto Del Rio And Brodus Clay (SmackDown, 3/11/11)

In March 2011, Edge was the reigning World Heavyweight Champion and headed towards a showdown with relative newcomer Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania XXVII. Christian, his best friend and longtime partner, had returned to his side in order to combat the presence of Del Rio's henchman Brodus Clay at ringside. The result of the moving pieces was a March 11th SmackDown main event that reunited Edge and Christian for the first time in many years. The contest allowed the duo to play the role of babyfaces, something they had not regularly done as a team since early 2000. They were crisp and showed strong in-ring chemistry as they countered the size of Clay with tremendous speed and resourcefulness. And in the end, Edge ensured victory for him and his championship-winning compadre via a top rope elbow. Yes, like Savage. No, not as good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nWDxOTeRSI
