10 Edge And Christian WWE Matches That Totally Reeked Of Awesomeness

7. Edge And Christian Vs. Road Dogg And X-Pac (Backlash 2000)

Weeks after capturing the tag team titles for the first time in their careers, Edge and Christian defended against Road Dogg and X-Pac in the opener of the critically acclaimed Backlash 2000 pay-per-view. Working as the babyfaces despite turning in the wake of their WrestleMania victory, the team delivered a championship performance that reiterated how ready they were to lead the division. X-Pac bled buckets following a shot to the face with the ring bell and the champions retained, much to the chagrin of the fans, who shifted their allegiances midway through the bout on the back of strong heel tendencies by the titleholders. An underrated bout on a card full of them, there was no better way for the new champions to assert themselves as the new villains in WWE's stacked tag division. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqm9od_edge-christian-vs-dx-at-backlash-2000_sport
