10 Edge And Christian WWE Matches That Totally Reeked Of Awesomeness

5. Tables, Ladders And Chairs III (Smackdown, 5/24/01)

Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit captured the WWE Tag Team Championships by defeating Steve Austin and Triple H in the same bout that The Game tore his quadriceps muscle. Earning the wrath of Vince McMahon, the new titleholders were forced into a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match against the three teams that originated the bout, The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. A wild, chaotic and jaw-dropping display of violence, the match featured the all four teams taking leaps of faith as they waged war for the top prize in the tag division. Edge and Christian, the heels, held the bout together. Edge delivered another extremely dangerous spear, just over one month after his iconic one to Jeff Hardy at WrestleMania. More on that one later. The match, though lacking the grandeur of the other ones, was still an extraordinary display of intestinal fortitude by four teams of tremendously talented professional wrestlers.
