10 Edge And Christian WWE Matches That Totally Reeked Of Awesomeness

4. Triangle Ladder Match For The WWE Tag Team Championship (WrestleMania 2000)

There are times in every team's career that fans can point at as defining moments. For Edge and Christian, WrestleMania 2000 provided them with what was, perhaps, their greatest as a duo. After weeks of enduring Hardy and Dudley Boyz-centered hype, the frustrated team arrived in the Pond in Anaheim, California for the Showcase of the Immortals and a Triangle Ladder match against those two tandems. What would be a golden night for the team started with hellish bumps and nasty bruises that threatened their championship aspirations. Luckily, they were able to weather the storm, then watched as Jeff Hardy launched himself off the top of a ladder and through both Bubba Ray Dudley and a table in the aisle way. Back inside the squared circle, they seized the opportunity to shove Matt Hardy off a ladder, through and table, and retrieved the tag titles to stand (or sit) triumphantly above the tag team division in World Wrestling Entertainment. Though it lacked the storytelling that the later TLC matches would have, the Triangle Ladder match laid the groundwork for everything that would follow.
