(John Cena Vs. CM Punk Vs. John Morrison Vs. King Sheamus Vs. Randy Orton Vs. R-Truth - Elimination Chamber 2011)

There's times when it's clear a wrestler is in a match to make up the numbers.

Usually there's at least one in every Elimination Chamber match and you could argue that this one had three. R-Truth gets the nod this time, partly because of how he got there.

There was a seven-man Battle Royal on Raw to determine a number one contender for The Miz's WWE Championship, with the remaining six going into the chamber to see who would face the champion at WrestleMania. If you can believe it, in the year 2011 we saw Jerry "The King" Lawler see off four former champions to earn the right to face the A-Lister at the pay-per-view. R-Truth was eliminated from that match first, and was gone before the last pod opened in the unforgiving steel as well.

Poor R-Truth has been eliminated first in three Elimination Chamber matches which is a record. He managed to get rid of King Barrett in 2015. but was gone three minutes later in his most recent appearance in the match type. He's reliable for making up the numbers, that's for sure.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
