The Undertaker is a Fed guy.

He never looked back after his big break. He was the "conscience" of the WWF. He created a backstage posse to combat the politicking Kliq and restore order. He oversaw wrestler's court. If any of those f*ckers were gonna drag the name of the company, he, a gruff and humourless tobacco-chewing presence, was going to terrorise them.

He didn't take too kindly to no permed ex-pats from Dubya See Dubya, neither.

And so, at SummerSlam 2001, under the institutionalised idea that all of this was somehow real, he battered Diamond Dallas Page like he was trying to take the food off his table and not perform a fictionalised adaptation of his role in a "war" long since won. That's my steak! a demented Undertaker said, unaware that A) it was no longer 1997 and B) Diamond Dallas Page, all along, just wanted to make a living.

In a thoroughly one-sided annihilation, 'Taker gave DDP nothing - you have to earn it here, boy! - and splattered him him against the steel cage so hard he almost broke it.

This run killed DDP's career. So yes, he likely is embarrassed by it.
