9. Damian Priest Gets Zombified With The Miz (WWE Backlash 2021)
Sticking with the super popular unit regularly found stealing the red show on Monday nights, Señor Money in the Bank Damian Priest enjoyed one hell of a 2021.
In that year alone, the former NXT North American Champion made his debut at the Royal Rumble, battled alongside Bad Bunny on 'The Grandest Stage', and even picked up his first piece of main roster gold at SummerSlam.
With all of that unquestionable success, though, it's easy to forget that this was also the same year Priest was nearly eaten alive by zombies inside of a WWE ring.
In a moment that many likely attempted to completely erase from their minds as soon as the surreal action had reached its end, Priest went to war with The Miz at WrestleMania Backlash in the wake of their aforementioned tag battle at 'Mania 37.
Only this match had a kooky twist.
In an attempt to promote Dave Bautista's incoming Army of the Dead flick, WWE had precisely that surround the ring as Lumberjacks for the pair's rather embarrassing showdown.
And if the entirely cringey sight of Priest and Miz having to sell the threat of a horde of prosthetic-boasting extras wasn't humiliating enough, the former was then forced to awkwardly fire an imaginary arrow up high, with the title of the Zack Snyder film responsible for this monstrosity of a blow-off match then popping up on a screen.
Oh, and zombie Von Wager ate 'The A-Lister', too...
