3. Ember Moon Is Handed Possibly The Worst Dialogue In All Of Creation

WWE

In the sort of short feud that might be made up, for all you remember, Ember Moon was programmed on SmackDown against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in June 2019.

The premise was thus: Ember enjoyed playing on her Switch backstage, and Rose and Deville smashed it out of her hands. She was a geek, and they were fashionistas who graced the covers of fitness magazines. Rose claimed she should not waste her time playing as superheroes on a video game console because she was a real-life superhero. This made zero sense.

Is a fitness model a superhero?

Perhaps WWE wanted the more perverted members of the Universe to rub their thighs and say "Yes you should play with Mandy Rose instead!" to Ember. Then again, Ember was playing an adult, so probably not.

The "more like" punchline set-up is horrendous. Only terrible wordplay can follow, so of course WWE uses this all of the f*cking time.

"Superhero?" Ember said. "More like supervillain!"

An adult was paid something approaching a six-figure salary to write this.

"Creative writer? More like hack bastard!"
