6. Bray Wyatt Goes Full Self-Parody

Bray Wyatt fans have been forced to endure a lot of nonsense over the years. There was the ghostly hologram while feuding with Dean Ambrose, the amplification of his hokey supernatural powers against The Undertaker, and the Wyatt Family's regular splits and reformations, but his character didn't look beyond salvation until earlier this year.

Winning the WWE Championship should've made 'The Eater Of Worlds,' but it produced the worst period of his career. Randy Orton burning Sister Abigail's burial ground was bad enough, but their 'Bug Match' at WrestleMania 33 was the moment he finally transformed into a full on self-parody.

Bray tried to unsettle 'The Viper' by projecting images of maggots and cockroaches onto the mat, but it didn't work. Orton shrugged it off, pinned Wyatt, and took his title, thus concluding one of the most disappointing WWE Championship bouts in years. Randy took everything that Bray had in his locker, including his cheesy powers, and dispatched him with the greatest of ease, killing Wyatt's mystique once and for all.

They followed it up with the horrendous House of Horrors match, and Bray has since moved on to another corny storyline with Finn Bálor, who he'll wrestle at No Mercy. Sadly, he may never truly recover from 'Mania 33's deathblow.
