Expectation: Can you remember the last time there was such an underwhelming WrestleMania main event? On paper, Lesnar versus Reigns looks like it could be a total washout despite some typically brilliant promo work by Paul Heyman. The two superstars haven't even touched each other or had much interaction at all in the weeks since Fast Lane. It's all very lukewarm at the minute. The fans are already annoyed that Reigns is in the main event ahead of their favourite, Daniel Bryan. Now they're not even going to get in each others faces and beat the crap out of each other on the way there? What exactly is the conflict here, besides 'New WWE Golden Boy vs Old WWE Golden Boy?'. The fans' resentment of Reigns has lead many of them to hope that Reigns doesn't beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and that The Beast Incarnate walks away as WWE Champion instead. It would certainly be a bold move by WWE, who must know that Roman's in for a hard time from the crowd inside the Levi's Stadium. Could WWE do the unthinkable and have Brock go over on the Royal Rumble winner on March 29th? Reality: Dream on. Reigns is walking away WWE Champion at WrestleMania 31 whether you like it or not. He is the chosen one, the man to lead WWE into the promised land as John Cena winds down in the forthcoming years. They're not going to prematurely end the Reigns experiment just because a section of the audience thinks Daniel Bryan should be in his place.
