Expectation: The divas division is not to everyone's tastes and, for a lot of the more jaded fans, it is usually used as an excuse to visit the bathroom or go and purchase some nachos during live events. WWE has conditioned fans in recent times to view the divas as little more than a p*** break. At this year's WrestleMania, however, there is finally a divas match with a decent story behind it and four talented and over workers involved. There is hope amongst some fans that AJ Lee & Paige versus The Bella Twins will get time to develop and tell a story on the night. Granted, it's not exactly Trish Stratus versus Mickie James from WrestleMania 22, but it's better than the invitationals and battle royals that the division has been given recent 'Manias. Last year AJ and the girls had the unenviably task of following the end of the Streak. Clearly it was meant to be the 'cool down' match before the main event. Reality: Despite all of AJ Lee's tweets to Stephanie McMahon asking WWE to #GiveDivasAChance, odds are that at WrestleMania it will be business as usual. The divas match will get no more than four or, at a push, five minutes. This is not NXT (where women get proper time for their matches) and, remember, Triple H will need at least fifteen minutes for his entrance.
