Expectation: WrestleMania is supposed to be a night of surprises. Last year we got the iconic moment of the 'Mount Rushmore of Wrestling' - Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock - standing in the ring at the same moment, at the same time and electrifying the Silverdo - excuse me, SUPERdome. Even though fans knew that Hogan was going to be there as host of the event, it was still a (very pleasant) surprise when Rock and Austin's music hit. Can WWE replicate that moment, or do something like it at WrestleMania 31? Probably not. After all, it's pretty hard to top the three biggest stars in WWE history sharing the same ring. But WWE could still throw us a few surprise appearances during the show. The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal would be a good place to feature some of the stars of yesteryear. WWE won't want the old boys overshadowing the younger talent, but a few decent nostalgia pops would certainly improve the show. Reality: You will get Jim Duggan, Ron Simmons and Hulk Hogan and you will like it. Whilst there are more spots in the Andre Battle Royal thanks to the multi-man IC Title ladder match, odds are that WWE will fill them with long-suffering midcarders and/or NXT talent.
