10 Extreme Wrestling Matches Mick Foley Has Probably Forgotten
9. vs. Ric Flair (TNA 2010)
By 2010, both Mick Foley and Ric Flair had long since waved goodbye to their glory years, but both men have something in common. Whilst neither would claim that the other has been a best friend exactly, over time they have mended a once fraught relationship, becoming as close as they likely ever will be. Where the common trend comes into things is with the sheer willingness of both to put their bodies on the line, seeking to prove they can still do what they did years ago. Working together in TNA during 2010, Foley and Flair were thrown out there on an episode of Impact Wrestling to piece together one last epic battle. Whilst the pair had wrestled at Summerslam 2006, this Last Man Standing effort was promoted heavily by TNA as the resolution of a rivalry from Foley's days in WCW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjloY4ZR6F0 Predictably, just minutes in both men were bleeding heavily, but an absolutely huge bump from Foley off the stage through a nearby table is perhaps the point where the legendary hardcore star might have trouble piecing together the rest of the match. Nearly overshooting his landing, Foley's hip just about catches the wood, as the rest of his torso bounces off the floor dramatically.
