10 Extreme Wrestling Matches Mick Foley Has Probably Forgotten
7. vs. Triple H (Hell In A Cell - WWF No Way Out 2000)
Even though Mick Foley is renowned far more for one of his earlier efforts inside the confines of Hell In A Cell (stay tuned for that), the man deserves credit for doing everything in his power to make Triple H look like the man during another cage match at the No Way Out show in February, 2000. Foley, as Cactus Jack, had tangled with 'The Game' in a stellar Street Fight at the Royal Rumble, which perfectly set the tone for this Cell encounter. Fans were expecting something special, and this main event delivered in a big way. Promoted as a match which would be Foley's last if he couldn't defeat Triple H for the WWF Heavyweight Title, all the stops were pulled out to emotionally draw fans into the thick of the action. Even Stephanie McMahon at ringside, outside of the cage structure, added something, showing suitable fear for her man when Foley had the upper hand. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xz54vf_triple-h-vs-cactus-jack-no-way-out-2000-hell-in-a-cell-match-wwf-championship_sport Upping the ante on his big bumping style, Foley agreed to be back-dropped from the top of the cell, through the steel and then finally through the ring. Of course, the actual mat was rigged to give way somewhat, but there's no way this wasn't painful. Looking dazed and confused after the fact, this bump is one of Foley's most famous.
