6. vs. Edge (WWE WrestleMania 22)
Teaming with Edge later at ECW One Night Stand, Mick Foley and the 'Rated-R Superstar' would collide on the grand stage of WrestleMania just months earlier, and the match is heralded as a highlight of the entire show. On a card also featuring the likes of Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon and John Cena vs. Triple H, that's quite the claim, but both guys gave their all to ensure they'd live long in the memory. The story was simple, but brilliant, and had the veteran Foley seeking to prove that he could still hang with the best of them, something Edge most certainly believed he was. This has been a common thread for many of Foley's matches since he "retired" in 2000, and it has always provided fans with ample reason to tune in. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2pi1f7_wwe-edge-spears-mick-foley-wrestlemania-22_sport Standing idle on the ring apron, Foley watched in horror as Lita poured lighter fluid all over a nearby table, before promptly setting the wood on fire. Then, from out of nowhere, Edge nailed Foley with a spear, and both men tumbled through the fiery flames together. Watching the bump, it doesn't look like Foley protects himself all that much, simply splatting on the hard floor after crashing through the table.
