10 Failed Attempts To Recreate Great Wrestling Stables
3. Voodoo Kin Mafia
Two people who were particularly offended by DX's lame comeback in 2006, were two of the men who were part of its original presentation - the Road Dogg and Billy Gunn
Employees of TNA in 2006, the James Gang as they were known, rechristened themselves the Voodoo Kin Mafia or VKM for short.
Declaring war on HHH, HBK and the real VKM, the duo recreated the DX worked-shoot promos and declared the new DX to be a failure due to their absence.
Impersonating their former partners, like they impersonated the Nation six years prior, the Voodoo Kin Mafia attempted to recreate the rebellious version of DX to oppose WWE's new watered down version.
Invading the WWE offices like they did as DX a decade before and offering $1m to take on the "gutless piece of s**t' Vince McMahon's "two pussies', VKM's requests fell on deaf ears.
Never one to give credence to his opposition from a leading position, McMahon, like the majority of wrestling fans, simply ignored TNA and his former employees.
As the months passed, the embittered former WWE employees' attempts were made to look more futile and bush league until they finally dropped the angle in 2007.
Both apologised and went back to work for WWE in 2012.
