Sadly, this entry is steeped with personal tragedy and spells one of the saddest stories of a failed push in wrestling history.

After a strong showing in TNA, which saw Marcus Cor Von player draw many heads, he had fans begging to see him reach his full potential. The wrestler, formerly known as Monty Brown, was explosive in the ring, and his finishing move - The Pounce - was a guaranteed pop, so his jump to WWE felt like the perfect move.

His initial run was strong, as he joined the ECW roster and helped form the New Breed stable, going on to defeat legends of the brand like Balls Mahoney, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Sabu and RVD. Things seemed set to see him pushed to the moon, but a family tragedy would cut it short.

Cor Von's sister tragically passed away in 2007, and he would make the brave decision to retire from the wrestling business to raise her children. The disappointment of his hypothetical career is eclipsed by his noble choice to prioritise family.
