10 Fakest Moves In Wrestling

1. The Worm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNyjZ8AJOeQ In terms of getting a reaction from the fans, The Worm is one of those moves that really worked. It's still the move that has to be considered the most fakest move in wrestling history. The reason Scotty 2 Hotty started doing The Worm is because he would participate in those group dances with Grandmaster Sexay and Rikishi that they would do after their matches. Scotty would do The Worm dance in front of them. For whatever reason, he figured it should be a move that he can do in a wrestling match. When he did The Worm during a match it usually followed a bulldog by the ropes. He would bounce off the ropes, drop a guy with a bulldog and then look up at the crowd. They usually cheered because they knew what was coming. He did the hop to the other side of the ring on one leg (with the "W-O-R-M" chant), then did three Worm motions with his body and then a "woo woo woo" before hitting a chop. He actually won some matches that way too. If Scotty 2 Hotty did The Worm as a celebration type move or a taunt the way Booker T did as a Spinarooni then there's nothing wrong with that. What made it into a move that was seen as too fake was when he hit that chop to the head and it led to him winning matches some that way. As a taunt that would have been fine, though. There are obviously a lot of moves in wrestling that look too fake in terms of doing them in a real fight, so if you have any thoughts of your own please share in the comments below!
