Of all the great names on this list, only one of them ever main evented a WrestleMania.

Bam Bam Bigelow was the man chosen to lead NFL star Lawrence Taylor through the closing bout of Mania XI, as the company desperately tried to latch on to his mainstream popularity to boost their own. The match was fine for what it was, thanks in no small part to Bam Bam, and the flame-headed warrior was rewarded for his efforts... kind of.

A few weeks removed from Mania, on the April 24th 1995 episode of Raw, Bigelow took on WWE Champion Diesel. Though not the main event, the match was given plenty of time, but Big Daddy Cool was ultimately too much for The Beast from the East.

He had previously faced Diesel for the gold on a dark match for an episode of Wrestling Challenge and had been a house show opponent for Bret Hart in early 1993, but his one televised title match would prove to be his last.

Bigelow would move on to ECW shortly thereafter, where he would actually get to win their World title and, most importantly, he didn't have to wrestle anymore linebackers.
