1. The Big Show - WMD

Go and watch any episode of any professional wrestling program over the past 30 years. Why does this half-assed punch knock a dude out, while the millions of other punches delivered from people with far more speed and ability fail to do so?

Can someone explain what was going through The Big Show's mind when he traded in a chokeslam for a punch? No one else in wrestling has his height and strength, so no one else could deliver the move like him. But for some reason, some unbelievably stupid reason, he decided to pick up a punch as his finisher.

Oh wait, sorry. I apologise. Not just any punch, the WMD!

Now despite Show punching opponents in the face dozens of times in all of his prior matches until a couple years ago with little success, the WMD suddenly starting knocking people the hell out. It was a miracle, and guaranteed him to never lose a match ever again. All he had to do was continue to punch people in the face, exactly like he had been for the prior two decades and he was set. If one punch failed, he could just do it again!

Except he stopped doing that, and mysteriously started punching his opponents in the gut ...for the entire match, instead of just aiming a foot higher and guaranteeing himself victory every time out. Oh well, maybe he'll still figure that out someday!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
