10 Fantastic WrestleMania Matches You Totally Forgot

3. Shane McMahon vs. X-Pac - WrestleMania XV

In Chris Jericho€™s second book, Undisputed, he talks about how Vince McMahon and WWF saw X-Pac's place on the roster in the late nineties. He was their measuring stick, the man they put up against newcomers to the company, because as far as the WWF were concerned, if you couldn€™t have a good match with X-Pac, then you couldn€™t have a good match. Shane McMahon is someone who never had any business doing the crazy stunts he did as a wrestler, he€™s the son of Vince McMahon and would have set for life in a corporate position behind-the-scenes. Shane loved pro wrestling, and since his early teens he did whatever he could to be around it, so it€™s not too surprising that he became a great wrestler in his own right. In this match X-Pac, a man who is perhaps best known for the phrase "X-Pac Heat" which means the fans just don€™t want to see you, excels as the plucky babyface fighting against the odds of a silver spoon champion with cronies like Test. Shane himself manages to keep up with the man considered to be the measuring stick of the WWF and proved himself as a talented wrestler in his own right, not just a daddy€™s boy.
