Man mountain Brock Lesnar hammered John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 to become new WWE Champion. That, dear readers, was just his third match of the year. He'd only go on to work another one before putting his feet up and realising WWE had fudged his current contract by chewing up dates with non-wrestling appearances.

Oops x2.

Brock beat Big Show at Royal Rumble, 'Taker at WrestleMania, Cena at SummerSlam and then lost to JC by DQ at Night Of Champions on 21 September. Afterwards, Lesnar went home and wasn't active again until a three-way vs. Cena and Seth Rollins came around at Royal Rumble on 25 January 2015. How's that for a light schedule?

Lesnar was WWE Champ from 17 August onwards, but only defended the title once that same year after winning it. Fans were irked by this, especially when Brock's part-time work followed a workhorse champion like Daniel Bryan (someone people still yearned for despite injuries that were outwith company control).
