Usually, WWE's crack production team has their ducks in a row, catching every necessary shot in a major production, with an absolute minimum of flaws. Other times, mistakes are made, and something that should be spotlighted gets missed. Can't be perfect.

In Royal Rumble matches, it's extraordinarily rare for the cameras to not pick up eliminations, which is incredible given how it can be difficult to keep track of all the action. In 1990, however, the elimination of Bret Hart went unnoticed.

Technically, it was on-camera, but it was buried deep into the scenery. As Demolition Ax and Smash worked over Andre the Giant, taking him down to the mat, a sharp-eyed viewer (and it would require high alertness) could see Dusty Rhodes knocking Hart over the ropes in the background. Both Schiavone and Ventura completely missed the elimination, focused on Andre being taken off his feet. Hart's elimination was acknowledged by the announcers shortly after, probably once instructed over headset.
