It's inconceivable to think WWE might not broadcast Raw live, but occasionally it happens for reasons outside of their control.

Back in 2015, a snowstorm made its way to Hartford, Connecticut and Vince McMahon was forced to air matches from the Royal Rumble instead. It was a disappointment for the WWE Universe, as well as the wrestlers who were looking forward to performing in the company's northeast backyard. A lot of the younger superstars had been at the XL Center all day, so when the news broke that a travel ban had been announced, they were left stranded at the venue until the storm blew over.

One person with them was Brock Lesnar.

A newly retired Corey Graves was there too. He'd joined the Raw pre-show and NXT commentary teams a month earlier, but he didn't know the Beast Incarnate. Fortunately, the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion broke the ice by paying to keep a bar open for the younger wrestlers. Graves said on After The Bell that everybody in the room was intimidated by Brock, but he proved them wrong by socialising with the group and enjoying the time he spent with them.

Eventually, the storm passed and the wrestlers, which included Dean Ambrose and future Lesnar opponent Roman Reigns, were free to make their way to the next venue. There were more than a few sore heads that morning... even though no wrestling took place the night before. Cheers!

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
