They can take his name, but they can’t take away his entrance music! That’s not true; they did take his music when Cody left WWE in 2015, but it’s doubtful he wanted to take either “Smoke And Mirrors” or that terrible Goldust derivative music with him.

No, Cody was a free man when he left. He could start again wherever he wanted; with the Stardust gimmick in the rearview mirror, he reinvented himself in the best way possible. With that came asking Downstait, who already performed the entrance music for Dolph Ziggler and The Miz, to record a song about his desire to rise back to the top.

“Kingdom” was born and fans have never looked back. He walked out to this song in Ring Of Honor, TNA/Impact Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and on that fateful day in Chicago, Illinois for All In. Eventually, he took the theme to All Elite Wrestling, then returned with a bang at WrestleMania once again using the track.

It’s one of the most iconic entrance themes for a reason, but perhaps its finest hour was when he walked out to face Kurt Angle with it blaring in Manchester for WhatCulture Pro Wrestling’s True Legacy event. You love to see it… or should that be hear it?

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
