3. Kane Ran A Libertarian Blog

Kane first unveiled the Citizen X persona as part of his political podcast in 2007, and expanded it with his blog, The Adventures of Citizen X, later that year. Running all the way through to 2011, Kane used the blog as a platform for his Libertarian musings, though the site was taken down all-together in July 2011.

The blog was resurrected in 2012 and is currently available in a skeletal form at AdventuresOfCitizenX.com, but there are only a couple of available posts, and the archives have been lost. A former contributor to LewRockwell.com, Kane has largely stepped away from political writing, though samples of his work are available at a couple of other locations (here, and here).

A huge champion of personal liberty, Kane’s favoured topics include the right to bare arms, the abolition of income tax, and arguments against heavy government intervention. Whether you agree with his viewpoints or not, Kane’s sharp, incisive writing pinpoints him as a smart, articulate mind who could probably make a decent living through political writing if he felt like it.
