3. Jerry Lawler's Puke Consisted Of Graham Crackers And Soda
The most satisfying match on the show was the "Kiss My Foot" match between Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler, even with the juvenile and silly gimmick attached. In storyline preparation for the contest, Lawler took to walking barefoot in mud, and wearing the same dirty socks for weeks on end, to make sure that Hart would have to smooch something truly unpleasant in defeat.
The tables turned, as they're wont to do, and Hart defeated Lawler. Not only did "The Hitman" shove his own foot into the mouth of "The King", but he folded Lawler up and made him kiss his own dingy foot. To sell the repulsion, a backstage vignette aired of Lawler puking in the men's room, having chewed up graham crackers and sipped cola before going live, giving viewers a truly nasty visual when he spit up the pretend-vomit.
Or maybe it was real puke, and he'd just watched the entire show to that point, who knows?
