The number ten entrant in the 1999 Royal Rumble was JOB Squad member The Blue Meanie, fresh from a three-year run in ECW. Six years later, Simon Dean (formerly ECW's Nova) took part in the 2005 Royal Rumble, as well as the 2006 edition. In neither Meanie nor Nova's instances did either man last long in those Rumbles, but they at least got to take part.

While those two-thirds of the Blue World Order had brief runs in Royal Rumble matches, ringleader Stevie Richards never got the chance. Richards, a member of the WWE roster from 1999 through 2008, was primarily used as comic relief and in managerial roles, and was never called upon to take one of the thirty spots in any Rumble match during that nine-year stretch.
