10 Fascinating WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Facts

5. Bo Dallas Was The First Rumble Entrant That Was Younger Than The Event Itself

Bo Dallas' entry into the Royal Rumble was by virtue of winning a tournament of NXT wrestlers the day before, as part of Royal Rumble Fan Fest. In succession, Dallas defeated Luke Harper, Conor O'Brian (The Ascenion's Konnor), and Leo Kruger (future Social Outcasts teammate Adam Rose) to earn the spot.

Dallas also has the distinction of being the first Rumble entrant to be born after the event's debut in 1988. Dallas was born on May 25, 1990, which also makes him the first Rumble entrant born in the nineties.

Interestingly, Dallas has not competed in a Rumble match since then. Despite being part of the main roster from the spring of 2014 onward, he's been left on the sidelines for each ensuing January classic.
