After the run of Rumbles in which Stone Cold claimed victory, the titular match would belong to a different person each year. From 2002 through 2012, all the winners were different: Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, Batista, Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, Alberto Del Rio, and Sheamus. Some would call that parity.

Cena's win in 2013 was the first time that a wrestler won a Royal Rumble match for a second time since Austin's 1998 victory, a full decade and a half earlier. Austin won a third in 2001, but it may be some time before we see another three-time victor.

Or maybe not. Since Cena's 2013 victory, Batista, Triple H, and Randy Orton have all won their second Rumble matches. If anyone's winning a third Rumble, that probably isn't the most unlikely group to produce such a winner.
