In a 2014 interview with Grantland.com, Tom Lister rattled off the money he made for each of his major WWE appearances in 1989. They add up to nearly $150,000, with the largest payout coming for Summerslam, which Deebo from the Friday movies would claim was $56,000.

Wrestler payoffs aren't exactly information that's readily available, and are mostly confined to tidbits mentioned in shoot interviews by the wrestlers themselves. Based on the limited stats that are out there regarding pay-per-view payoffs, it's known that both Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior each made $75,000 for SummerSlam 1991 (more on that story a couple of articles from now), so it's not so far-fetched that Zeus would've gotten paid a pretty healthy five-figure sum for working in the show's headline match.
