"Spectacular, but safe." In WWE circles, it's a speech often given by Vince McMahon (or some other top official) to wrestlers that are about to take part in a car wreck of a match. It's a friendly reminder that while the crowd is anticipating unparalleled daredevilry, to not go too far outside the boundaries of personal safety and comfort.

The famed "TLC Six" were given just such a reminder before storming the ring that night, and according to Edge, it was Shane O'Mac that delivered that sermon. What makes it ironic is that Shane himself had the greatest brush with death out of everyone on the card that night.

McMahon lost his Hardcore title match with Steve Blackman in grand fashion. McMahon tried to escape the pursuit of Blackman by climbing up the entrance way rigging, only for Blackman to knock him off with his kendo stick. Shane, who fell an estimated 50 feet, is just the person to be giving safety lectures.
