After two months out of action, The Big Show returned to the WWE fold the night after Fully Loaded in July 2000. He re-emerged as a face, but then turned heel (one of his many, many turns) by attacking The Undertaker. This was setting up a SummerSlam match between the two, but two weeks later, Show was written out, after Undertaker threw him off the stage and through a table.

Show would be off WWE television until the 2001 Royal Rumble. Weight and cardiovascular issues, as well as a reported attitude problem, had gotten the 28-year-old giant sent down to Ohio Valley Wrestling to work for the time being. Show was even pulled from WWE's video games releases from that fall, while the likes of Kaientai and The Mean Street Posse remained as playable characters, which is a helluva wake-up call.

Kane was hastily turned heel (one of his many, many turns), and set against Undertaker instead.
