2. Kurt Angle Was Concussed Before The Rock Even Made His Entrance
Owing to their heated rivalry, Triple H and Angle got into a skirmish before Rock even made his entrance for the triple threat main event. The two climbed onto the Spanish announce table, where Triple H would attempt a Pedigree. However, the table gave way (immortalized in WWE "Don't Try This At Home" PSA's of the day), and Angle suffered a concussion when he was unable to brace his fall properly.
Angle credits Triple H for being enough of a ring general to get him through the remainder of his spots without further hurting himself, as his mind went completely blank. Angle even said in a 2016 interview that Stephanie herself had to call out certain spots, including the right moment to trip Rock, as well as an order to throw Helmsley into the ring steps, because he was completely clueless as to what to do.
