When one thinks of Beefcake and Honky, generally their 1988 feud over Honky's Intercontinental Championship comes to mind. Their rivalry spans far longer than merely that gold-based rivalry, stretching out across the first three Survivor Series events.

In fact, Beefcake and Honky were involved in elimination spots with each other at all three shows. In 1987, Honky pinned Beefcake with a Shake, Rattle, and Roll neckbreaker. A year later, the two were both counted out at the same time while brawling on the floor.

In 1989, Beefcake would finally even the score, pinning Honky following a jumping knee to the face during the Dream Team-Enforcers match. The fact that all three matches were the opener of their respective Survivor Series' is just another bizarre coincidence.
