Poor Hector Guerrero. A brilliant performer in his own right (he was in many ways "Eddie before Eddie", a gifted prototype that his baby brother improved on) is forever linked with this night of infamy. The Gobbledy Gooker often rates as the worst creation in pro wrestling history, for obvious reasons.

Just performing in the feathered costume wasn't bad enough for Guerrero, who admitted he could barely even see out of the eyes. Since the egg that he would be hatching from was on display in the arena throughout the pay-per-view, he had to hide within the confines of the platform holding up the egg. He hid inside from before show-time, up until the hatching just prior to the main event. In other words, Guerrero was stuck in that tiny space for several hours while wearing the ridiculous costume.

Guerrero also noted that he was given a fan to keep cool as he waited for his moment to "shine". It would be the only fan he had on that night.
