Perhaps we're stretching the parameters of "fascinating facts" a smidge. The Alliance vs. The Mercenaries was the least-interesting Survivor Series to date, though it was somehow topped (bottomed?) by the Duggan's team/Mustafa's team match from the following year. Lesson learned: Survivor Series matches with Sgt. Slaughter in them are never good.

Slaughter's team was ostensibly a group of "foreign" America-hating baddies, comprised of himself, The Orient Express, and Akeem, the latter of whom hailed from "Deepest Darkest Africa" after a questionable rebirthing ceremony in 1988. Don't give me that look; I just report this stuff.

Anywho, Akeem left the company in early-October 1990 and was replaced by the far-less-interesting Zhukov, who was so effective that he was eliminated by Tito Santana in 48 seconds. Three days later, Zhukov lost to Tugboat at a house show in Toronto, and then left the company himself.
