5. Banners Supporting The Undertaker Were Confiscated

One thing you'll notice watching the WWE Championship match between Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker is the crowd response. It wasn't modern day fans crapping all over Roman Reigns at max volume, but it is fair to say that it was 60/40 in favor of Undertaker over fading superhero Hogan.

Easy to understand: Undertaker was a fresh and interesting character, while Hogan was stale, as well as tainted by the looming steroid scandal (namely, his outright lies in the Arsenio Hall interview the previous July).

The crowd noise signaled a serious change in taste. The support for Undertaker would've been even more pronounced had it not been for WWE officials confiscating two large pro-Undertaker banners before the show. According to The Wrestling Observer, said banners were facing the hard camera, and would've been highly visible throughout the show.
