When Undertaker Tombstoned Hulk Hogan onto a steel chair held in place by Ric Flair, he was not only about to begin his first reign as WWE Champion, but he was also making history.

At the age of 26 years, eight months, Mark Calaway became the youngest WWE Champion to that point. "The Phenom" shattered Bruno Sammartino's mark set in 1963, when "The Living Legend" first captured the belt from Buddy Rogers at age 27 years, seven months.

Undertaker's mark wouldn't even last a year and a half, narrowly being broken by Yokozuna at WrestleMania 9 in 1993. When Yokozuna captured the gold from Bret Hart, he was 26 years, six months old. Yokozuna's mark stood until 2002, when Brock Lesnar felled The Rock for the gold at 25 years, one month.
