On November 20, 1994, Bull Nakano ended the near-one year Women's championship reign of Alundra Blayze, defeating her at an All Japan Women event in Tokyo. The result was acknowledged at Survivor Series three nights later, complete with footage of the finish. According to initial plans, the two were actually supposed to face off at the pay-per-view as well.

Perhaps the wearying travel of flying from Tokyo to San Antonio and working a match on barely three days rest was the big issue. It was a moot point anyway - Nakano was suspended for six weeks beginning in December 1994, and her already-minuscule presence on TV evaporated just about entirely. Nakano lost the belt back to Blayze the day after WrestleMania 11, and then disappeared from the company.
