The opening match of Survivor Series 1994 saw Shawn Michaels leading the oddly-named Teamsters (were they the ones who set up the ring and lights?) against Razor Ramon's Bad Guys. You'd think it'd be an opportunity for Michaels to shine as star athlete, but he in fact stayed out of the ring for almost the entirety of the match.

Owing to a broken hand, Michaels had his ailment worked into the match. After Diesel eliminated everybody except for Razor, Michaels (fresh as a daisy after not tagging in once) wanted the final glory of pinning Razor all to himself, only to screw it up and facilitate his full split with Diesel. If nothing else, it demonstrated a great way to turn a negative into a positive.
