Torrie took part in the 2007 Survivor Series in what was functionally a throwaway ten-woman tag, standing tall with the winning group after teammate Mickie James pinned Melina. The sub-five minute jaunt was functionally Torrie's WWE curtain call, aside from some less-prominent matches that she worked later that week.

Torrie took some time off shortly after Survivor Series to undergo physical therapy for a back injury. She never resurfaced on WWE programming, and was released in May of 2008.

With more incoming Diva classes thanks to the mass hiring of "Diva Search" non-winners, not to mention the call-ups of wrestlers from within WWE's system, Torrie was finding less and less airtime. At one time, she, Stacy Keibler, Trish Stratus, and Lita were the most prominent four women on WWE programs, and Torrie was the only remaining one a year after Lita's retirement. More or less, the writing had been on the wall prior to Torrie's eventual quiet exit.
