Reading through the Wrestling Observer's history of Worst Match of the Year "winners" is a perverse trip down memory lane. Only the baddest of the bad get voted "crème de la crap", and the 2008 Survivor Series was the site of that year's pick.

The Triple H vs. Kozlov vs. Edge (a very late sub-in for the AWOL Hardy) triple threat took the (dis)honors. Kozlov's awful, disjointed performance combined with the tasteless angle and the screwy finish to annoy fans, both casual and devoted. The Observer readers made their choice clear.

Among the other top vote-getters from 2008 that the triple threat beat out were The Ultimate Warrior's final match (against Orlando Jordan in Spain, if you can believe it), and the Honky Tonk Man's abbreviated IC title challenge against Santino Marella at Cyber Sunday.
