Ziggler downed Morrison in the opener, though his night wasn't quite over yet. He still had to take part in the evening's lone five-on-five elimination match, as part of the heel contingent. It's not like he had to exhaust himself all that much - Randy Orton pinned him about 90 seconds after the bell rang.

The cameo in the match did allow Ziggler to claim a rather obscure accolade: he became the first man since Big Show in 1999 to have wrestled in a championship match and a traditional elimination match at the same Survivor Series.

Amazingly, the feat has actually been done once more since. In 2015, Sheamus wrestled in a five-on-five eliminator earlier in the Survivor Series card, before successfully cashing in a Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns at night's end.
