10 Fascinating WWE Survivor Series 2013 Facts
8. Roman Reigns Became The First Person To Score Four Pins In One Survivor Series Match
A total of 16 times in Survivor Series history, a wrestler has recorded exactly three pins and/or submissions in an elimination bout. Sgt. Slaughter was the first to do so in 1990, and Dolph Ziggler is the most recent example in 2014.
Reigns, however, stands as the first and only person to make four eliminations in one Survivor Series match. He pinned everyone on the babyface side except Jey Uso - that one went to partner Seth Rollins.
This display of one-man fury on the part of Reigns occurred two months before he'd set a Royal Rumble record for most eliminations. Between those two shows was the match that allegedly bore the phrase-turned-meme, "make Roman look strong", at TLC. Certainly, WWE was doing all they could to get Reigns over as tomorrow's big star. It would take almost a year for there to truly be any resistance.
