10 Fascinating WWE Survivor Series 2015 Facts

All of the hype surrounding Undertaker's first Survivor Series match since 2009 had more to do with honoring an anniversary than actual angst with the Wyatt Family. The nostalgia-minded WWE has marked occasions before, but it's often hard to coordinate them with the exact date. For instance, Raw's 25th anniversary show (22 January 2018) will not line up with the actual debut of Raw itself (11 January 1993). The days just don't jive.

For Undertaker's anniversary match, WWE got lucky with the timing, managing to get 22 November for both 1990 and 2015 alike. The 1990 Survivor Series was the final Thanksgiving night edition, taking place 22 November, while the 2015 show (long after the time Survivor Series had moved to Sundays) fell on November 22 as well. A nice touch, if nothing else.
