Of the several enduring images from the two-part fracas, one that stands out is when Goldust takes the wheel of his gold-painted Cadillac, and proceeds to mow down Piper. "Hot Rod" took a classic stuntman bump onto the hood, jumping at the right time to create the illusion that Goldust drove straight into his knees. It made for a startling visual.

According the 2016 biography of his life, Rowdy, Piper agreed to perform the risky stunt as a thank you to a certain WWE executive, who had offered to watch Piper's young son Colt during filming. Together, Colt and the official sat in a control room and watched Colt's dad swing a baseball bat at Goldust's head.

That executive, by the way? Vince McMahon. I suppose if the emperor of professional wrestling offers to babysit your son, you become more willing to allow a Cadillac to kneecap you.
