In 1999 alone, The Big Boss Man fed somebody their cooked dog, took part in a steel cage match where dogs urinated around ringside, and dragged a casket behind his car after crashing a funeral. Oh, and he was also hanged by a ritualistic cult before 20,000 witnesses. Now that's a resume to be envious of.

After the snoozer of a Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker, Boss Man was, yes, hanged with a noose. Many have wondered how the effect was achieved, since it looked pretty realistic and grisly.

Attached to the noose was some type of hook that subtly attached to a harness that was concealed beneath Boss Man's flak jacket. Thus, when the noose "pulled" him from the mat, it was actually the hook pulling the harness up, which applied zero pressure to Boss Man's neck and throat.
