In a later printing of Foley's best-seller Have a Nice Day, details of Foley's WrestleMania 2000 appearance are inserted as something of a bonus chapter. The legendary brawler detailed a sense of melancholy that plagued him in the days before the event, and curiously notes that he told his wife Collette, "Don't be surprised if the match sucks, and I don't sell a lot", making reference to one of his three opponents that he wasn't seeing eye to eye with.

It's believed that Foley is referring to The Rock, who he would note in his follow-up book, Foley is Good, patched things up with him in 2001. Foley had apparently been harboring some needless resentment toward Rock for some time around the turn of the century, including at WrestleMania 2000, and it would be some time before the friends were on the same page once more.
