WrestleMania 25 was a family affair for the Snukas, but a more mortifying one for Sim Snuka. The wrestler once known simply as "Deuce" dropped quietly from the Raw roster in early 2009, not that his absence was particularly noticeable. The son of "Superfly" would however, find use at WrestleMania 25, with nearly-disastrous results.

Snuka, who had once worked as a cameraman for a Utah television station, was disguised as a WWE cameraman. He was strategically placed at ringside to help break Undertaker's fall during a suicide dive attempt. Once Shawn Michaels pulled Snuka toward the intended spot, Snuka had to drop the camera and quickly get his arms up to halt 'Taker's momentum.

Snuka was far enough out of target range that Undertaker javelin'd head-first into the floor, nearly breaking his neck. The bad landing gave "The Dead Man" a concussion, which reportedly rendered him unable to remember how the match ended. As for Snuka, the writing for his WWE tenure had been on the wall for some time, and he would be released in June 2009.
